The VO series choppers have a robust frame that has been specially designed for powerful tractors, in order to use the mulching-spraying combination.

On all types of VO choppers, any position can be selected within the working width adjustment. The working width is infinitely hydraulically adjustable from the tractor cab. The side movable discs can be adjusted both simultaneously and individually.

On the movable discs, under the rotors, there are protective plates of knives that adapt the arm of the movable disc to the surface plane.

For the application of the “Mulching-spraying” combination, the VO shredders are equipped as standard with a through drive. Due to the movable hitch (backstage), the reference weight of the sprayer is transferred to the tractor.

Thanks to the precise electro-hydraulic control system, equipped with a probe located on the “hand of the disc”, the tree trunk is delicately “felt” and the movable disc goes around the tree.

VO 3000/ VO 3500 The main unit is equipped with three rotors. To increase the mowing area and provide a very clean cut of grass. The knives are mounted on knife holders so that they can be changed quickly and cheaply.

Combined with the precision control system, the standard VO models are equipped with manual positioning of the moving discs. In this way, the working width can be ideally adjusted to the row spacing when mulching in the trunk area. In this way, unnecessary movements of the movable disk are avoided and precise mulching around the tree is achieved.
